Drinks may be OK but it takes these guys FOREVER to make them. 20 minutes wait for a simple drink, with only a few people in the store and 5 staff behind the counter. To the owners: send your staff to Italy for proper coffeeshop training, it will be your best investment. I ain’t coming back until then.

I love this coffee shop. But two big problems recently. One is that they cut the hours significantly down. They close too early now at 6:30pm. A lot of folks are getting off of work and not even home by then. Move the closing time back to 7pm at the very earliest but ideally by 8pm as it should be. The other problem is their stock. They are almost always out of everything by mid day. They were out of cold brew for several days and couldn’t make certain drinks. Their stock is a major problem. This place could and should be so much better but ownership is not doing a great job with it.

We’re from Michigan visiting friends in Santa Clarita, and we ended up DoorDashing Philz Coffee every morning. I kept ordering the Philtered Soul—honestly some of the best coffee I’ve had. Super smooth and really hit the spot first thing in the day. Everyone else enjoyed their drinks too, so it was an easy win for our whole crew. Would definitely order again.

I am happy to see a quality coffee house in Santa Clarita Valley. The service was exceptional, friendly. Pastries are well displayed and priced competitively. I like that they have some vegan pastries as options. Philz Coffee is not a place for a quick brewed coffee. They are a specialized crafted coffee house. In other words, be patient for a quality coffee. I highly recommend that you visit this coffee house and enjoy a smooth coffee.

Got a large Mint Mojito, creamy, half sweet and a Philz Iced Tea on opening day. Both were delicious. There was a line out the door, but it moved quickly. The baristas seemed to know what they were doing. Despite the crowd, they still insisted that guests tasted their drinks to make sure they were to their liking. Will be back often!
